Lifetime and psyche synchronize planetary rhythms and geometries. Geometry and number are the primary source of magical thought, linking humanity to cosmos. Learn how to bring planetary energies into your world to promote healing and integration. An illustrated talk.
Saturday, May 17th, 2:30 PM – 4:45 PM: Session 7
Tibetan Buddhism and Western Astrology
Track 11: Esoteric/Philosophical/Spiritual
The core concepts of Tibetan Buddhism are extremely relevant to Western astrological practice and philosophy of wanting to help others. Concepts such as emptiness, impermanence, dharma and "afflictive emotions" teach us much about how we live our lives and can be experienced through the horoscope. A. T. Mann edited the text of the DVD of the Dalai Lama’s "Kalachakra Tantra Teachings," which is the most astrological of the higher initiations of Tibetan Buddhism. Learn how to begin to integrate Tibetan Buddhist principles into your astrology and your life.

Come visit beautiful Bali for nine days of masterful tarot and astrology teaching
with A T Mann and Juliet Sharman-Burke
Astrology in Bali, November 14—23, 2007
Juliet Sharman-Burke (creator of the Mythic Tarot with Liz Greene) and Tad Mann are experts in tarot and astrology, both having studied, written and taught extensively on the subjects for many years. They have each created and produced their own unique tarot decks, as well as being published authors of astrology and tarot books. They are highly respected among their peers and students.
There will be a wonderful depth and richness from having two very different, yet complementary perspectives available to the group. They will teach individually and at times together. The workshops will include mythological and historical studies, meditations, guided imagery and other psychological work, astrological referencing and background, and work with various techniques for using the tarot as well as creating your own tarot deck by the authors who have created theirs.
The 2007 "Astrology in
Bali" Tour of Borobudur, Java
November 24th-25th
A T Mann guided a group on an exclusive tour of the great 9th century Buddhist temples of Borobudur in the mountains of Java, Indonesia. The architecture of the temples is a mandala, a contemplative image of wholeness, into which we will journey. Within sight of two ancient volcanoes, this area is astoundingly beautiful. You will be shown the architectural and spiritual significance of this complex of temples by A T Mann, an architect, astrologer and feng shui expert.

The Mandala Astrological
Tarot

A T Mann's "Mandala Astrological Tarot" cards were originally painted in 1972, and repainted for publication in 1986. They are circular mandala images within square cards. The cards may be rotated and placed on either of the four astrological angles: upright (MC), upside down (IC), leaning left (ASC) and leaning right (DSC). Each card is a stage-set or initiation chamber for a level in the process of achieving wholeness. All colors are coded magically and the images are derived from traditional medieval, Egyptian, Rosicrucian and other mystical languages.

"The Spirit of Space: Astrology and Design"
The foundations of Feng Shui, lost in the distant past, are rooted in a Chinese Taoist philosophy that celebrates spiritual energy at work in nature. The Spirit of Space is a rediscovery of the primary art of humanity's harmony with nature. This deep logic of working harmoniously with space and movement exists within our astrological world view. Correct use of these principles promotes better health, more beautiful spaces in which to live and work, and a greater degree of inner peace and wealth. This work will not only harmonize your working and living spaces, but also will lead to improved health, wealth and well being.
Chinese Feng Shui principles and devices are often effective due to the improved intention they bring to our awareness. A twelve-sided astrological code identifies the basic mechanisms of movement in space, formulates their dynamics, and transforms these principles into good design. We will create a new way of working with our living, work and play space so that we re-discover the cosmic alignments of "The Spirit of Space."

"The Heavenly Roots of Sacred Architecture"
The Philosophy, Cosmology and Consciousness Forum
California Institute for Integral Studies.
Graduate Education for Mind, Body and Spirit
1453 Mission Avenue, San Francisco, CA 94103
The core of sacred architecture is the relationship between cosmos and individual, a relationship that is essential for us to re-establish in our architecture today. Physics and mythology share their common origin in such cosmic memory systems, utilizing correspondences that literally re-organize the brain and integrate one with the cosmos.
The PCC Forum is a series of lectures and dialogues that is an opportunity for creative and inquiring minds to come together and share ideas and experiences.
